Jacob's Birthday Party

Jacob had his 6th birthday party on November 15th. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese (like we do every year) and everyone had a great time! Jacob's guests were Blake (a friend from school) and his family, Mitzie, Little Johnny and his family, Grandma Carol, Papa Tom, Uncle Brandon, Uncle Bob, Aunt Laurie, Uncle BB, Aunt Vanessa, Connor, and of course Mommy Daddy and Ethan. Jacob ended up getting 548 tickets! Mostly from Uncle BB who got over 300 (thank you!) From Chuck-e-Cheese we all went to our house for more partying! Jacob wants to say thank you to everyone who came and also for all the great gifts.

Jacob was very scared and couldn't wait to get down

Jacob was a good boy and wore his seat belt
Ethan got to go on some rides too!

Again Jacob wasn't so sure of the ride. He kept saying "I'm scared!"

I think Grandma had fun on the rides too!

I went all out with the decor!

My masterpiece-it wasn't that great looking, but at least it tasted good!

Popcorn and cotton candy for all!

New Pictures of Ethan

Ethan turned 6 months on November 5th. He is getting so big! Ethan is rolling around and loves to roll until he reaches his destination. It's almost time to baby proof the house! He is eating veggies and loves sweet potatoes. His next doctor appointment is Friday the 21st, I'm sure we will be surprised at how much he weighs! He is wearing 6-9 month clothes, some of which he is busting the buttons on! I think it is so funny how his hair always sticks up in the back, daddy says enjoy it now because you will probably be bald at 18 years old!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY JACOB!

November 13th was Jacob's 6th Birthday! I still can't believe that Jacob is such a big boy now! To me he will always be that chubby baby that always makes me laugh. He's such a sweet heart! I wanted to make sure that this would be a special day so Carol and I made arrangements to have a birthday party at Jacob's school for him. I made chocolate cupcakes complete with orange sprinkles (Jacob's favorite color is orange). Jacob was so excited to have his classmates sing happy birthday to him, he also got to have the first bite of cupcake.

Jacob wore his favorite Pokemon t-shirt.

When Jacob got home I gave him my present to him, 3 Storm hawk toys.

He swears I was hiding more presents in the closet, he was very disappointed to find none.

We then went to Carol's to open his gifts from her and Aunt Nancy

Aunt Nancy sent a handmade birthday card and a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart. He purchased a Ben 10 Alien Force DS game. He was very proud to be able to buy it all by himself! He also wants to thank Grandma Simon for the card and money! This also helped buy the game.

Ethan liked chewing on Jacob's birthday cards

Tom and Carol got Jacob a Pokemon t-shirt,

a Shining Star toy

and Martian Matter (you get to design your own aliens). They also got him flash cards that tell the star constellations and describe comets and planets.

Aunt Ashlin and Uncle Matt got Jacob a science lab and a computer program that teaches him to write letters

Jerron surprised Jacob with his very first baseball glove! Jerron can't wait to teach Jacob to play baseball.

GO COLTS!

As you may know we are a family of very proud Colts fans! Jerron recently attended the Colts vs. Patriots game, which the Colts won! Ashlin took these adorable pictures of Jacob in full Colts gear.

Halloween Party 08'

October 25th Laurie, Carol, and I hosted a Halloween Costume Party. We had a great time decorating the Garber house with spiderwebs, tombstones, ghosts, and skeletons. Tom made a fire pit in the back yard where we roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. On the menu was chili, hot dogs, chips, 6 feet under dip, eyeball cupcakes, pumpkin cheesecake, and deviled eggs. We also had a birthday cake for Tom, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM! I hope everyone had a great time!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween Carol and I decided to take the boys to Russiaville to trick-or-treat. Jacob met up with his buddy, Johnny, and they had a great time getting candy. Jacob was a grim reaper and Johnny was Batman. Ethan stayed in his stroller all evening and eventually fell asleep. He didn't make a sound as we passed by all the gouls and goblins. Jacob got a full bucket of candy (as he usually does every year), I'm sure it will be gone soon!
