Ethan's model debut

Last weekend Ashlin, Jerron's sister, took pictures of the boys. She definately has a natural gift of photography (and patience!). The pictures turned out great. Carol said "these boys are the most photographed kids I know!" It helps that I have the cutest boys in the world! Jacob didn't cooperate like I had hoped, so here are some of the best pictures with Ethan.

Yum, toes!

Ethan is definately teething now! He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, there is never a moment that he isn't chewing on either his own fingers, toys or pacifiers. This week he found his toes. Sometimes I can hear him sucking on his toes from across the room! He's my silly boy!

Jacob's first BOOK IT pizza!

I remember getting my first Book It pin and I loved wearing it with all the star stickers. The free personal pan pizza wasn't bad either! Now I get to watch Jacob enjoy reading and sharing the pride of his Book It accomplishments. Jacob is well on his way, Grandma Carol read 10 books with him earning him the Book It key chain.

Fall Harvest Party

Jacob had his Fall Harvest party at school; I volunteered to help so I got to enjoy the festivities too! It was great seeing Jacob in his element at school surrounded by all his friends. He really is a social butterfly! The kids got to decorate gourds, play hot potato with a small pumpkin, and decorate their own cupcake.

In this game the kids had to hold hands and pass a hula hoop to each other just using their body. It was boys vs. girls.

The boys were really excited because they thought that they had won...little did they know the girls had finished about 2 minutes before the them.

"The Best Day Of My Life", Our day at the Apple Orchard

Carol invited Jacob and I to go with her to an IUK fundraiser at an apple orchard. We made scarecrows, rode on a hayride, drew on a pumpkin, and bought fresh apples and drank fresh apple cider. After piling the scarecrows, apples, and pumpkin in the car there was barely room for Jacob! As we drove away Jacob said "This is the best day of my life!"

The finished scarecrow. His name..."cool kid".

Our scarecrows were falling apart at the seams, but it was a lot of fun!

So scary!!

A Day At The Park

Today Ashlin, BB, Vanessa, Jacob and I went to the park to take pictures. Vanessa is due on October 31st with her first child, Connor, so Ashlin wanted to take "belly" pictures while there's still a belly! Jacob went to play on the playground, of course! It was a very pretty day to go, the leaves are changing colors and the weather is nice and cool. All the pictures turned out beautiful!
I decided to take some pictures of Vanessa too!

A pumpkin for a pumpkin

Last Sunday (Oct. 5th) Carol bought pumpkins for the family to carve. There was a pumpkin for Leah Sedberry, Connor Kendall, Bob and Laurie Allen, Ethan, and Jacob. Of course Jacob had the biggest pumpkin, which he carved a jack-o-lantern that got shot by a rifle! Ethan loved watching Jacob have fun and as you can see we captured some great smiles! After carving pumpkins we had Sunday dinner. Ethan and Leah sat next to each other in their Bumbo chairs while the parents ate. If you don't already know the Bumbo chair helps babies sit upright and aides in the development of the muscles required to sit and hold their head up. We all had so much fun and are now ready for the Halloween season to arrive!

Ethan loves to be in the middle of all the action!

We saved the seeds and snacked on them after dinner

Ethan seeing another baby for the first time. I think he was very curious as to why Leah had a pacifier. He cried every time she fussed!
