Easter 2009

Easter this year was very exciting, the Easter Bunny came to visit! Matthew, Ashlin's husband, dressed up in an Easter Bunny costume to surprise the kids. Of course, Jacob being the pessimist said, "That's Uncle Matt, I can see his shoes!". Jacob still played along while we got pictures and did an Easter egg hunt. Ethan thoroughly enjoyed the Easter bunny. Ethan laughed every time the bunny came near him. He probably thought it was a huge cuddly toy! Tom and Carol made a huge holiday dinner. All the men took a long nap after dinner, that's when you know the food was good! It was a great day, thank you Uncle Matt for making the boy's Easter holiday really special!

Ethan's first outside adventure

Last week the weather in Indiana was unseasonably warm, thank God! It was a great break from the cold rainy cloudy days of March! Naturally we spent most of the day outside. Ethan loved the warm sun on his face. I can't wait until Summer, especially since Ethan will be walking and will be able to explore.

Building a birdhouse with Papa

Jacob and Ethan have been alternating weekends with Grandma Carol and Papa Tom. This gives Jerron and I an opportunity to spend one on one time with either Jacob or Ethan. Our weekend with Jacob was so much fun! We ordered pizza, rented the movie Bolt, and popped pop corn. Last weekend Jacob stayed with Grandma and Papa. Jacob and Papa built a bird house, complete with racing stripes. Grandma was so proud that she hung the birdhouse out in her garden!
