Time to go to "home" again!

We're back in Kokomo this weekend for family time and Colts football!

NaNa got all the Little People toys out for Ethan to play with

Reading Time! Papa made popcorn and we sat around and listened to Jacob read his new book

The Time Machine

"All Mine!"

"CHEESE!"

Our First Tincaps Game!

Jerron and I decided to venture out of our norm (sitting home and watching TV) and see a Tincaps game. We had a blast! For $5 we got standing room only tickets...and found some empty seats that we didn't know were reserved. The usher was kind enough to let us stay at the table and removed the reserved table top sign...karma has FINALLY paid me back :) Now I think I need to get some lottery tickets!
Parkview Stadium

Great seats :)

We can barely see with the blaring sun in our eyes

Let me take my sunglasses off....

Our New Place

This is our new apartment! I love it!

Our dining room. The table and hutch are from my mom, it's been in the family since I was little

Our incredibly small kitchen.

Our bedroom, I painted the pictures on the wall : )

The boys room, all sports themed

Summer is officially OVER...

Jacob starts 2nd grade this year! He has been very nervous to start his year in a new school, but was excited at the same time! He got to pick his outfit, which is a shirt with dragons. Jacob said "No one's gonna mess with a guy with dragons on his shirt...I look dark and menacing." Needless to say Jacob has now made many friends. He is reading at a 4th grade level and is getting great grades!

Ethan is totally confused wondering what we are doing standing on a corner

Jacob is the last one on the bus this year, last year he HAD to be the first

I watched as the bus drove away and the silence was deafening. Ethan and I have to start a new routine with out Ethan's buddy home to play with.

Summer Fun 2010

This Summer has gone by in a flash! Ethan and Connor are closer than ever now that they have played at NaNa's house so much. Also as a result of that, Ethan can swim by himself (with the aid of a padded wetsuit). Jacob went to Summer Camp for the first time. Jerron started a new position and we have moved! It's definitely a summer to remember!

Connor and Ethan defeating the whole purpose of the water table

Ethan eating his daily snack...a Popsicle (don't mind the ghetto bib)

Jacob saying good-bye to Bailey on his last day of 1st grade

Ethan got a sucker stuck in Bailey's tail....

then proceeded to pull it out

Ethan learned to peddle his tricycle!

The boys waiting for NaNa to arrive

In the process of moving the boys found the portable DVD player

We have a 51 " TV and they would rather huddle around a 10" screen...I don't get it

Adventures at Shoaff Park

Grandma Simon and Carol (aka Nana) came to visit us in our new city. Grandma Simon thought it would be fun to go to a park and watch the kids play so after some online surfing she found Shoaff Park. Little did I know that it was right down the road and a beautiful park that offers a water pad. I think this is a GREAT idea, being a mom of a toddler this is a much safer alternative to going to a pool. Jacob and Ethan had a fantastic time playing and meeting other kids...I can't wait to go back!

Ethan and Jacob checking out all the cool water displays

"Mommy, are you done yet? Your embarrassing me!"

All the kids fought over who would get splashed next with the bucket of water

Ethan's New Watertable

Grandma Carol got Ethan a WaterTable for his 2nd Birthday! Ethan LOVES it! It's great on a hot day when I can strip Ethan down to a diaper and let him have fun!

Water Wars!

Ethan's 2nd Birthday

Ethan turned 2 May 5th this year! We celebrated at our apartment with all our friends and family. Aunt Ashlin supplied outside toys for entertainment, the kids had a wonderful time!
