Jacob by day, Clothes Boy by night
Jacob has been creating a secret identity for himself for days now. He truly thinks he IS a superhero, but always wondered what his superhero name would be. I turned around one day to find Jacob dressed like this (see pictures below). Jacob said "Don't tell anyone who I am because once the bad people find out your my mommy they will kidnap you to upset me. I will always have to dress like this because evil never takes a holiday!" So Jacob put his "regular" clothes on top of this outfit for two days, until he got so hot he couldn't stand it anymore!

T-Ball season is over
Jacob played his last t-ball game in June. Overall Jacob did an awesome job this season. He learned the rules of the game, even though he spent all his time in the outfield telling his coach how he was going to move to Hollywood and be a big movie star. All the coaches nicknamed him Hollywood. By the last game Jacob was hitting pitches. I am so proud of him for doing his best-even if it did mean that he had to miss Saturday morning cartoons!

Viral Rash
Ethan got very sick a few weeks ago. He was running a fever of 102 degrees, tired, and not himself. Jerron and I took him to the ER where he was diagnosed with a bad ear infection. He started antibiotics and the fever was gone within two days. Then he started to develop a rash all over his body. I thought he was allergic to his antibiotics so I took Ethan back to the doctor. The doctor said that Ethan had a viral rash. There are no other symptoms-no fever, fussiness, or loss of appetite. The rash looked alot worse than it actually was, thank goodness! Also the rash was gone within two weeks, just enough time to take Ethan out with shorts on during the Swine Flu Epidemic~you should've seen the dirty looks I got!

Sunner warm weather is finally here!
Carol had the baby pool ready for the boys to get in today. Both Connor and Ethan had a great time splashing and playing. Ethan loved the slide that was set up next to the pool, he would climb up and slide down backwards. Soon after Ethan was done playing in the pool Carol put him in his swing. As you can see by the picture Ethan fell asleep, he had a great day in the fresh air!

Jacob's last day of Kindergarten!
Jacob woke up on Friday in the best of moods, it was the last day of Kindergarten! He sang "School's out for-ever!" while he brushed his teeth, picked out his favorite outfit, and asked me put his hair in a faux-hawk. He said " I am so glad that I don't have to go back to school for a whole year! Mommy, can you believe that I'm gonna live at Grandma's house all summer!" I didn't argue with him, he'll soon figure out that adults don't go on Summer Break and in a short three months First Grade will be calling his name. But for now the days will be filled with swimming, watching Pokemon, and playing with toys all day!
