HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween 2009 was a great one! When I asked Jacob what he wanted to be he said "Nothing cute, anything with Death will be fine." My idea for Star Wars characters was out the window at that point! So Jacob decided to be Hell's Gate Keeper, and Ethan was a police man (just like his daddy). They look great!

Our new kitten

For Jerron's birthday I got him a kitten. It took us 3 days, but we finally chose a name...Bailey. He is so sweet! The best part is that Bailey gets along with Ethan and Jacob! Ethan loves to chase Bailey all through the apartment, I don't think Bailey likes it as much as Ethan does!

McDonalds

Ethan is loving McDonald's just as much as Jacob does! Believe it or not, but Ethan eats an entire Happy Meal to himself! Once a week Jerron and I try to treat the kids to their favorite meal, chicken nuggets and french fries.

Fun with play-dough!

Connor and Ethan had a great time playing with play-dough! They loved to mash it in between their fingers and cut shapes out. A couple times Carol and I had to stop Connor and Ethan from eating it and mushing colors together. It was so much fun watching them discover something new!

Summer Days

A couple of weeks ago the temperature was well into the 90's and when it's that hot there's nothing else better than taking a dip in the pool! Grandma is teaching Ethan to kick and blow bubbles in the water. Then we finished out the day with home-made snow cones ~ Yummy!

Jacob's first day of First Grade!!

It's back to school time!! I have a feeling that this year is going to be much more difficult getting Jacob off to school, he's already complaining! Jacob was happy to learn that a lot of his friends were in his class, and that his teacher is really nice. I think Jacob is already counting down to Christmas break!

End of season T-Ball Party

Jacob was so excited to spend a fun day with all his new t-ball buddies. There was so much to do: swim, bounce on the trampoline, water balloon fight, chase the girls...what more could a boy want!!? I am so proud of Jacob for doing his best this season and making a new group of friends!
